"Heather has been absolutely amazing in helping us with our puppy Brewer. She started with him when he was 5 months old and we have felt that ever since he is always in great hands whenever she is with him. Heather's response time is outstanding, she gets back to me usually within minutes to let me know if she can come over to let Brewer out, I never have a concern that I won't be able to reach her. Heather always sends a follow up text before she leaves our home to let me know that he's been taken care of and how he did, this gives great comfort when I'm at work knowing that she's visited with him. Heather's services vary and we've tried many - from dog walking, to 1/2 day visits to full day visits over night she does it all and she does a great job with each level of service. When Heather stayed in our home we came home to an immaculate house, all of our mail taken in, plants watered, etc. she took the extra steps to go above and beyond what was necessary of just watching Brewer and we greatly appreciated it. "Heather has been taking my two big dogs (Graham and Ginger) on daily walks for many months. My shepherd has struggled with fear aggression. Heather has really been helping with reducing this behavior and I think it has everything to do with how comfortable she is as the pack leader. The pups trust her to lead them. "With 5 cats, 10 birds and 1 chameleon, I was apprehensive about finding an animal sitter who could handle such a diverse menagerie. Would she get along with my noisy cockatoo? Would she chop the fruit and vegetables small enough for my finches? Would she change the cat box often enough that they would not pee in the shower? Most important, would she give them all the attention they crave?
I shouldn’t have worried – she did a great job and even left my house clean and tidy. The animals were happy and well-fed and the cockatoo even sat on her shoulder. I had sticky notes pasted on the cupboards and refridgerator. She is terrific and now I can travel again." - Wendy H.

"Heather has been helping me with my two purebred Labrador retrievers since 2014. I am a single dogmom with a full-time career so Heather's help has been indispensable, particularly with Dolores the pup...from dealing with messes in the crate to exercise and special feeding instructions. Heather knows what to do with the dogs and can handle any given situation, from taking them for their nail grooming to separating them when they get too rowdy. “The quality of care that Heather has provided our two dogs, Nymeria (Nym) and Ghost, has been outstanding. For the past year we have relied on Heather for dog walks and overnight stays, and know when she is taking care of them, they are getting ample attention (which Nym requires a lot of!) and love.
Heather is responsible, organized, and timely, and frequently provides updates and check-ins, and always sends pictures and videos to document what a great time our dogs are having with their friend. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to be inside your house and care for your fur family when you are not around. We have no regrets about Heather! She came into our lives when our dogs were seniors. They could no longer tolerate long walks, but Heather would let them out, play, and cuddle with them for a half an hour when we needed her. They loved her and we can truly say that she loved them too. Ariel passed away first and we didn’t think to notify Heather when she was nearing the end. We could tell that Heather was sad that she did not get to say good bye. When Logan was at the end of his life, we made sure that we notified Heather. She took time out of her busy day to come and cuddle with him and say good bye. He looked happy to see her. It demonstrated to us how much she cares for her clients.
We have an extremely shy cat that also came to love Heather. This cat likes 3 people in this world – me, my husband, and Heather. We are grateful that Heather was able to forge a bond with our shy guy because she now checks on him and our house when we are traveling. She always gives you updates and pictures when she is interacting with your fur family members. In addition to her critter duties, she takes out the garbage, brings in the mail, and waters your plants when she is housesitting for you.

Heather has worked with us for at about five years now and I can't say enough good things about her.
She is reliable, accountable hardworking, conscientious. and very clean. She pays attention to detail and has great follow up (with pictures!). She provides, and remembers, all household services in addition to providing excellent pet care.
Heather is intelligent, has foresight and loves animals. Her affection for them is clear and infectious. She has a good sense of humor and is calm under pressure. She knows how to use her energy and skills to keep problem dogs calm. She thinks ahead and prevents situations from happening.
Heather is an excellent manager and she expects a lot from her employees. She supervises them well and resolves any issues quickly and directly. Heather is great at laying out rules, clarifying expectations and monitoring the actions of dogs and people.
Heather is the consummate professional. I doubt that you will find anyone else in any other field that cares as much about their work as she does.
Her rates are reasonable and she is flexible with scheduling. That being said, Heather is a first rate calendar keeper and expects others to do the same - it helps to provide her with as much notice as possible. She helps you by sending regular reminders.
